Ayodeji Babafemi is an Economist and a graduate of Lagos State University, Ojo. He started his career more than twelve (12) years ago as an Investment Officer with Dynamic Portfolio Limited and has since served in the capacity of Auditor, Accountant, until recently as Accounts and Admin Manager with D. A. Shontonwa & CO prior to joining Island Microfinance Bank Ltd.

He has a unique approach to tackling work-related issues, he is self-motivated, an excellent team player, an innovator and a creative person. He brings to the team wealth of experience in managing processes and standard operating procedures of the bank. He is a student member of the Institute of Chartered Account of Nigeria (ICAN), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). He is happily married with children.
