Chief Omotesho is the Managing Director of Island Microfinance Bank Ltd. He is a professional banker and was many years with Societe Generale Bank Nigeria Limited. He resigned in 1990 as the Managing Director/Chief Executive. He left SGBN in 1990 to pioneer the establishment of Hillcrest Merchant Bank Limited as its Managing Director/Chief Executive.

Chief Omotesho is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretary and Administration of Great Britain. In the course of his career he attended various courses in Banking and Finance - Senior Bankers course at Manchester University in Britain and Security in Banking, Insight Institute Paris, France.
